Appreciate Yourself- A Fantastic Friday Assignment

Happy Fantastic Friday!

So, last Month, I launched Fantastic Friday. And, once again,it's time to reflect on how awesome you are, celebrate getting through another page on the calendar and maybe re-evaluate your strategies for long-term goals, or think of some new ones for the month.

Whenever I see them, I give the ladies in Barb's class  (and myself) homework and it's nice; a lot less pressure than a new year's resolution; a lot more manageable. That said...

This Fantastic Friday, your assignment is to:
Keep in mind- You are enough.

What To Put In Your Gym Bag

If you've made going to the gym part of your New Year's SMART Goal, that is super awesome. Whether you're going to a group class, to work out on your own, or with a buddy, one thing that will help keep the experience enjoyable is a well prepared gym bag. Free to Cheap Healthy Date Ideas- Winter Edition

Dates can be hard on your wallet and not always the greatest for your health. Drinking, dining out, watching a movie are some of the staples, but they aren't the best or only options when it comes to romance. In my opinion, a date is about spending quality time together, getting to explore great things about yourself and each other, and having fun. It needn't break the bank or your health goals.

With Valentine's Day coming up and winter still around for us Canadians,  I'm going to offer a few simple suggestions for free to cheap and healthy dates that stay inside.

I Love Morning Yoga!

For the past month or so, I've been giving myself a no pressure 30 day-challenge of doing a little bit of yoga in the morning. I'm loving this routine from Sarah Beth Yoga to get my day started.
It's about 15 minutes long, energizing, relaxing, and great to follow without looking up.

Hurray internet videos!
Anyway, I am happy to announce that the yoga is sticking.

Not only is it good for flexibility, but it's also good for taking a step back from the world, it's really inexpensive to practice, and you can do it at home. Make sure that you check with a doctor before beginning any exercise plan to make sure that it's right for you and it's also a good idea to get some basic instruction from a live teacher to make sure you really understand the poses, but this is a really great video.

Love it! Hope you do too.
